To answer the big question, Jim still hasn't finished the book, so any release dates given by Amazon or other retailers should be treated as speculation. I think that January 16th is a very reasonable estimate, but until you hear it from Jim, me, his editor Anne Sowards, or his agent Jenn Jackson, I wouldn't give it any weight.

Ghost Story was 3 1/2 months, and Cold Days was 4.
So, uh, I guess when I said before that January 16th was a reasonable estimate, I appear to have had the brainworms. This is why I avoid speculation. XD

I've not seen this time period verified till now (priscellie is Priscilla Spenser and she is responsible for the content of the jim-butcher.com web site). I still haven't seen the date he actually submitted the completed Skin Game manuscript to the publisher in print anywhere.
