There were hundreds and hundreds of them in a big cauldron being heated. I think each shape was a different substance, most likely pork, fish, chicken, or beef. Depending on how much you pay, the vendor puts a selection of them into a plastic bag along with a sauce over them and a skewer with which to eat them.

It's my habit NOT to ask what foods are until after I've eaten them, to save me from my own cultural food sensitivities, but this time we were walking and eating so were several blocks away from the vendor by the time we finished. I just did a Google Image search, but couldn't find them. Next time I'll grab a shot of it with my cell phone.
