Costco had the Note for $70 off from $389. It was only an additional $30, and Monkey had an additional $20 off at Staples. But I didn't want to try another store. We went to Target last night, and the good news is I won't have to go next year (my daughter was horrified). She agreed to go with me to Costco when it opened--unfortunately it was an hour early, at 9:00. We arrived about 9:20, and the nearer parking was almost all full. We saw a guy park, and go running into the store! Once we got in there, we noticed that EVERYONE seemed to have a 55" TV in their cart. We saw someone checking out buying 5!
I had decided to buy the Note so long as there was some additional discount. It was only $20, but that was okay. Then, we purchased some bread and some plastic wrap, and saw some framed sports stuff. My wonderful daughter found a Cubs one, and I buy those automatically. Then I had a big thing in my cart and couldn't see around it! I thought we were going to have to ride home with the top down, but once we got it in the car, we were able to put the top down (and turn on the heat, it is in the lower 30s).
Next year, I will only go to Costco. Or maybe I have enough Tablets. I have a Galaxy Tab 2, a Kindle HDX and a Galaxy Note (bought to take notes with the S Pen.) I told my husband I had ice cream sandwich and jelly bean, and I wanted kit kat!!
