Since fingers are situated at approx. the same position on every page, it should not be a problem to put watermark above it or even along the whole side of the page if finger position is not uniform, automatically for all the pages.

Watermark should be the same color of the page i.e. cut from some page margin.

Or maybe to crop all pages instead, if margin is not that important to you.
