I never hard coded anything on my Paperwhite or Kindle Keyboard, I just added my own font. I never did any hard coding on my Sony either, or for reading on my Nook HD tablet, it's just the kobo I've had to do it for. I don't understand code so the less I have to fiddle with the better.
