Nah, I want to rearrange (move) the data, so I'm up for changing the links anyway - I was looking for a way to use an indirect reference so that if/when I want to move them again it will be easier.

Its not critical - just something I'd like to do. Didn't realise when I started creating these supplementary author folders and book files that I would soon have almost 3000 of them. The directory structure I'm using is too shallow.
