My daughter and I picked up a few of the Azpen's about 2 weeks ago...for the price range, the tablet is not half bad...and I considered it like a pre-paid/burner phone, I don't have to always be worried something is going to happen to it. The 3year ext warranty is like $10 and Microcenter is good with warranties. The speakers are louder than expected, the view angle does not totally blow and my daughter is already playing subway surfer and temple run with no issues (15yo). Might be good for that elderly and pre-adolescent in your fam. I use it (letting my grandma borrow for a while) and I'm a tech junkie. You just have to know what to expect when you get a tablet at that price and you will actually be pleasantly surprised.
