I'm looking at an Acer projector available for $800 with full HD and 3000 lumens, as far as I can tell it has the same specs as an Epson 8050 at $200 more. I'm attributing the lower price to the difference in production costs between Japan and Taiwan. I don't need speakers in the projector, my computer has Beats sound and I believe that will be sufficient for movies and shows, it will never be an Imax experience.
