Good thing you took out that 3rd world crack or I mighta had to .....
, but really with the HD the odds of having a need to deal with a hardware issue are pretty small. The new Aura is the one that seems to have issues. Since the new Paperwhite is having similar issues it seems to be a manufacturing issue on the screen side with the new readers this year.
