Thanks! I modified the existing extension a bit, to support both designs. Simply tap "Tweak Battery Icon (Design 1)" or "Tweak Battery Icon (Design 2)", where design 2 is Aeris'. In the linked thread there were 2 different version of the code, but I found out that, at least on the Paperwhite 2, the line "marginTop" attribute doesn't change the looks of the new battery gauge, whether it's -1.4pt or -1.6pt, so I went with the smaller one.

I'll attach my modifications (I hope that's okay, if not I'll remove the attachments), simply replace the "BatteryStatus" folder in your extension folder and restart KUAL on the device. After having applied one design, you need to restart the device to apply the other one properly.
