Alas, saving as PDFs isn't working out quite as well as I had planned. For some reason, Safari is leaving large right margins; in some cases, it looks like 30-40% of the page. There might be a way around it, but at the moment, it doesn't look like this is going to be a viable way to import full ebooks to a Jetbook. So either I figure out the fb2 stuff, or I look at finding another reader.
