I don't think like the average person who buys a tablet for media consumption. I am reader so that's what I want something that let's me read all that other stuff is a plus but if I can't read on it why bother. The PPI is higher on the Nexus 7.2 so the text rendering should be a huge difference from the Nook HD.
The Nexus 7.2 feels like I am holding a eReader instead of a tablet that could be because my other tablet was shape and felt like a brick.
The Kindle Fire First Generation weighs 14 ounces!

The Nexus 7.2 only weighs 10.23 ounces and HDX 7 weighs 10.7 ounces so that should give you an idea of the change.
