Hidari, I would only ever consider someone an "idiot" who stubbornly retains an

). Your opinion was neither actively ignorant (in that you were willing to look at further information), and nor were you stubborn about retaining it.
I frequently have significant respect for people who hold a strong position on something, and then show willingness to change or even reverse that opinion based on new evidence, and to do so before a public forum, such as you have above. The gods know I find it hard to change my own opinion sometimes.
So, I don't think you're an idiot, and you should stop thinking so too.
However, I think we can all agree that Will Ferrell is (anyone who disagrees...well, I'll be over in the corner with my fingers in my ears going "LALALALALALALALALALA..."
