Hello,
I've been running around the internet trying to solve this problem and although I am sure it's not going to be a problem for many people I thought I might throw the question on the board and see if anyone can possibly give me an answer on how to fix / get around it.
So I have a kindle keyboard and I bought a book from Amazon Japan's website. (game of thrones/ in Japanese)
Before purchasing the book the website made it clear that it was not compatible with my kindle keyboard (no reason why) but was suitable for the various fires and paperwhite. So I just downloaded the book on to my android device thinking i'll just be clever and rip it from there.... however.
The PID code for my tablet/account/book is massive and each section repeats itself once. (e.g. Vg1A4r2c, MA4YtNB8, Vg1A4r2c, MA4YtNB8 and so on) the book cannot be opened via the pc version of the kindle reader (states that it is not compatible with this device in both Japanese and English) so I can't pull it from the pc and convert it into a .mobi file that can then be sent to my keyboard.
So my questions are:
Is the PID code hidden it the massive string of codes and I'm just not seeing it?
Why is this book (the only one I have come across) refusing to open on a large selection of kindle programs (it's not graphics heavy or color)?
Is there away of forcing the file on to my kindle keyboard? (the keyboard is registered to my account)
Hope I have been clear and I hope you can help.
(I just want to read the book i've paid for on my kindle keyboard!!!

)
Thanks
