This is a rich, magical book (in fact, a kind of magical realism would best describe it, in my opinion), and it is also rich in language. It's a challenging, demanding, exhilarating novel.

I would suggest that a sample be downloaded. If you fall in love with the writing (as I did), then you will love it. If it seems exasperating and demanding (merely personal preference), then I would avoid it.

I loved this book.
