I'm with Jon on this. Many times I have gone through the song-and-dance of if you live here then this, if you live there that, if you are over there then this other. Knowing where a person lives helps a lot. For example, the laws on fair use vary greatly from country to country. Someone asks about problems with the Sony store and three posts later we find that they live and have a credit card from a place that Sony does not support the Reader. The same with copyright questions or where to buy. Even when someone says that they live in Athens, Moscow, or Paris you still have to ask which one. (Athens, GA or Athens, Greece - Moscow, TX or Moscow, Russia - Paris, TX; Paris, TN; Paris, VA, or Paris, France - and I know I have left a few out.)
