Find location of magnet operated reed switch with a small high powered ceramic magnet. If you have Philips Sonicare tooth brush can use very strong small magnets from worn out brush due for replacement. Mark location of switch with crossed grease pencil marks. Find location of magnet in reader cover and place scotch tape over magnet location then put thick small dot of lipstick on tape at magnet location. Close cover to transfer lipstick to reader to see how magnet and switch line up.

Could use thick dot of tooth paste, cake frosting, mustard, ketchup or ...... instead of lipstick.

Warning keep magnets away from your credit card magnetic strip and hotel key mag strip, to keep magnetic strip readable.
