Thanks, that did the trick!
I had tried using both a paper clip and a magnet but I wasn't even close; I was looking more toward the edge
and I still can't trigger sleep mode on the reader with a magnet like others have.
I had assumed the magnets were located in the bezel area not in the reader screen area.
