Actually, sunrises are even nicer during the Rainy Season, when the afternoon downpours wash all the dust out of the local area, but leave enough in the upper atmosphere to create some beautiful colors, and crystal clear skies. Another two months and I won't even be able to see this mountain because of the haze...

Well... I was out there... camera on the tripod, all programed to bracket 9 exposures at .3 f/stops change, graduated neutral density filters ready to block out the sun, but those pesky clouds wouldn't co-operate! The ones I wanted behind the sun can be seen on the extreme upper right side of the sky, and the ordinary flat clouds that have been plaguing my skies every night stayed right over the sun! I wouldn't kick this one out of bed, but it's not what I really wanted...
