Well whichever one it was is a nuisance as I have spent the last 3 days trying to get the In-App Purchase upgrade to work.
I was abandoned by Apple Support and told to contact the App developer.
After various of the developers suggestions didn't work I tried something myself and it now works.
It would seem that although I made the In-App Purchase from my iPad Mini, as I had made the initial download of the App to my pc, I had to "tell" iTunes Store that I wanted the App to work on my iPad and to therefore apply the In-App Purchase to the iPad.
Sounds complicated but took a few seconds of taps on 3 "Yes" buttons ! .....after 3 days of messing around getting nowhere.
