thanks for the input guys. I'm now back to wondering what's wrong with the 2 kindles I recieved. I'll be getting the next replacement early next week. What I plan to do is to let it charge overnight using a different charger. If that works, i'll go charge it with my old charger and see what happens.
Worse case is it goes into repair mode again
