I have also had the same issue. I purchased Michael Connelly's new book Gods of Guilt last night but there is no Adobe DRM link and it won't sync. After 2 chats (we were disconnected the first time) I was offered a credit.
However I don't want a credit as I purchased the book using the 80Nvbr code and then cancelled my Amazon preorder. A $4.30 credit isn't going to help me much when the book is either $21 at Kobo or $15 at Amazon.
So I am waiting and hoping that it is just a temporary glitch as the book is only supposed to be released today. I was very surprised when the option appeared to buy it last night. Should have realised it was too good to be true!
