I'm doing it right now. I found some free fonts (that have at least a bold and italic file) and am moving them onto my Nexus 7 now.

I just hooked up the micro usb cable to my computer and dragged the fonts from my computer into the Mantano/Fonts folder. Easy and working great. Now I have the dilemma of deciding which fonts I like best. I prefer san serif and have already found a few good ones.
