Worth checking to see if there is a common thread with a particular plug in and a process that may stay running, but it seems like the drain would be as bad while the reader was "on."
Until now I have the Kobo Touch Extended Driver and the Kobo Touch Driver, extensively used in the forums. Back when I just got it I loaded epubs and didn't have any problems. Now I have trouble loading books, they just won't load. I have to reset the Kobo several times until it works. If this goes on I'll disable the plugins and try again loading epubs. I'd rather not have the extended features. All of these books are exquisitely formatted and worked flawlessly on the Nook ST Glow.
