You have to look in all of the individual sections to see all of the articles. What you have compared here is only what was on the web front page.

The "today's paper" view includes all of the sections from today's paper on one web page, which was parsed by the old recipe into individual sections.

So to compare "apples to apples" you need to compare the contents of ALL of the sections with what today's paper shows--and I think you will see there's a lot more in the current recipe.
