I just read this on Lovreading.co.uk.
A message to you from Kobo
READ WITH PASSION. With voracious curiosity. Read to be frightened. Read to be inspired. Read to learn. Read to unlearn, to change your opinions. Read to discover. Read because you must. We exist to make books more ACCESSIBLE, more CONVENIENT, more DISCOVERABLE. Where others would lock you in, WE LET YOU OUT.
Where others would force you into their world, WE WANT TO BE INVITED INTO YOURS.
Where others say no, WE SAY YES, EMPHATICALLY, YES.
Where others say ‘mine’ WE SAY, OURS.
Where others strive to dominate WE CO-OPERATE.
Where others make products WE CREATE EXPERIENCES.
We don’t believe in customers, WE BELIEVE IN READERS.
I find this particularly ironic as no one has bothered to reply to my email about the book I bought thats impossible to download. No response and no refund.
They certainly do create experiences but it isnt one they should be crowing about!
