Was this ever a working Kindle, or was it a collection of parts that you tried to "frankenstein" together?
Even if you've given up on it, don't just throw it away. One of the folks in R&D might still have a use for it as a test bed, instead of a reader, and I know there are several of us with collections of sick Kindles that might be able to do something with it. I mean it HAS to be either the screen or the motherboard; there just AREN'T any more components other than the buttons and the battery.
