It is not showing up on her Kobo either.
And what if you dont have a device, as many dont? I went back through my browser history and on the confirmation of payment page, the one you get after you buy a book, it clearly says to download the Kobo app, either for a mobile device or desktop. So I downloaded the app to my daughters laptop, registered it with the exact same details as her online account and synced it. Still no book.
So, no way to download it and it doesnt show up on either her Kobo or in the app.
I have emailed them. Its not the dollar amount that bothers me, its the out-right fraud of taking my money and providing no way to get what I purchased.
Kobo really do seem to bend over backwards to provide the worst possible service in every way.
The one and only thing I can think of to praise them for is the coupon codes but even thats becoming a joke with it being so difficult to apply them so often.
