I called Kindle Support and was on hold for over an hour and the guy I got didn't speak English he spoke rapid broken English
He finally handed me off to a Kindle specialist who was American. He told me the truth there was no way to guarantee the next replacement would be better and he was willing to replace it. So I ask for a refund and I ask if I had to pay shipping and he said no they would cover it so now I wait for my refund.
I originally told him my plans were to downgrade to a HD model but I just can't go through anymore replacement games again if there is something wrong with it so I ordered the Nexus 7 after playing with it at Walmart two weekends back it's a lovely tablet. The HDX has more vibrant color but here's the thing. The HDX blue LEDs are not optimal for reading in the dark! I got alot eye strain and a headache trying though
The way the light projects to the screen reminds me of my laptop which I think when they made the HDX they went for movies watcher not for real Kindle use.
