Lately I've been buying a lot in the $1-3 range, as well as Baen Bundles. As a rule I'm perfectly comfortable with paying up to MMPB price for most e-fiction because ebooks are much easier to read than paperbacks. If it's over $10 I'll generally wait for the price to drop unless I really want to read it now.
For me it's all about how badly I want to read it. The more I want the book, the more I'm willing to pay.
