Thanks for your reply, DoctorOhh. I wondered why the PDFs took so long to load. Duh, I should have figured that out. Old-Timers, I guess. I went and re-installed Acroread. I haven't tried any of the Linux PDF Readers yet.
I like this forum. Everybody seems to be real friendly. It seems to be the best forum for Calibre too. Especially, since Kovid checks in here.
I might have to come more often.
