Look at the Sony Alpha... Little bitty thing that takes great big pictures. It can do most of the things my Pro Nikon can do, but at 1/4 the weight and size.

Right now I'm sitting and looking out the window at the night sky. It's the beginning of the Loy Krathong holiday and there are a thousand glowing hot air paper balloons floating upwards over Chiang Mai, with constant displays of fireworks shooting up from different parts of town. Being on the 15th floor with nothing blocking our view, we get to see almost everything that goes up! Tomorrow night we'll go down to the center of town to get some good photos ourselves of all the people releasing their balloons. And photos of the fire trucks racing around town trying to put out the roof and tree fires.
