I do understand. Android is not a single program, nor is Linux. We can split hairs and argue if it is an application or an o/s (I agree that it is an o/s, but it is an o/s that runs on top of another o/s. Call it a program, a service, whatever you want (maybe I was sloppy in my description, in which case I apologize)).

Technically, it is a Virtual Machine, as I stated. But ...

The point, if we have to make one, is that Android runs on top of Linux. You can't have Android without Linux. Maybe I should draw a little ASCII art diagram of a two step pyramid?

This has no relevance to my question.

Question: what neat stuff can run on the hardware of a Kobo Glo, and does anyone have an image file which I can simply copy onto my hardware and try it out?
