I haven't tried with 3.0.0 but again in the old version, if you held the power switch for 20 or so seconds, you got the screen shot and power off. Once power is off (battery dies and you recharge, for example), the power switch will work as does the reset switch.

OTOH, I only enabled that function when I wanted screen shots as it was annoying to get a screenshot everytime I forgot and tried to go to sleep mode.
