Maybe slightly OT, but I would have liked the settings of the reader to be absolute values not relative.

AFAICT, setting the font size to a given value doesn't mean « use a font size of 10pt » but rather « use a font size of 120% of whatever size the book defines ». As a result, I don't get the same, uniform display across different books. Playing with the font size doesn't help, because if the base font size defined by the books is not the same, using the reader's slider allows you to « jump around » the size you're trying to get but most of the time you don't get exactly what you want. Same thing goes for the line spacing for instance.

It's a pity, because to me one of the big advantages of a reader is to get the exact display I want and unfortunately almost each time I open a new book I get a different display...
