Emma Darcy, a pen name for the Australian husband-wife writing team of Wendy and Frank Brennan, wrote lots of romances, and three (according to Stop You're Killing Me) mysteries. The three are all US $2.99 and couponable in the US store, which, right now, for me, has the new Kobo checkout.

The three are:

  • Who Killed Angelique?
  • Who Killed Bianca?
  • Who Killed Camilla?

Looks as if they might have been going for the A-B-C thing, like Sue Grafton, but didn't make it nearly as far!

A search link is here (Kobo US): http://store.kobobooks.com/en-CA/Sea...a+darcy+killed

I haven't read them, so can't comment, but Wikipedia says that Who Killed Angelique won the Ned Kelly Award for Best First Novel, and Who Killed Bianca, was a finalist for the Ned Kelly Award for Best Novel
