I don't think I have ever heard of a Veteran's Day parade. Such things may exist, but I am not familiar with them. It's just more of a day of somber commemoration than a day for parades. Memorial Day is also a day of commemoration, but tends to be more festive. It's understandable, it's hard to be too somber in late May, but quite easy to be somber in the middle of November.
