So I have had my first Kindle reader for about a week, a Paper White. So far I am loving it. It is really nice to be able to read in bed instead of for my Sony device needing a good source of light. No problems with using Calibre to convert epub books in my library to mobi format. A few years ago I tried going the opposite direction. There was a ebook that I really wanted that was only available through Amazon. The conversion really screwed up the formatting and even led to some text going missing. That was a royal PITA to fix!
