My Glo uses my 'dummy' kobo account - an account that I never use to buy books with.
I buy books with another Kobo account.

So my Kobo Desktop app I keep in the name of the dummy account and only use if I want to update the firmware and sync the Glo via desktop rather than direct link (as in Murg's thread).

I download all my Kobo purchases directly into my Sony Reader for PC, and then import into Calibre and onto whichever one of my devices suits. (I don't ever use my ADE account or desktop app - just straight into Sony Reader for PC)

I don't buy or use kepub on my Glo - they're all sanitized epubs via Calibre.
