The last version of KOreader that I tried was v2013.03-545-g2044f5a and I couldn't exactly reproduce the display of HackedUpReader with KOreader on my Kindle Touch. But I think this was due to the fact that HackedUpReader exposes more of the options to fine-tune the different settings (for example the margins) than KOreader does (and I'm a bit anal about how my epubs are rendered).

For my usage patterns, the touch zones of HackedUpReader suit me better (surprise, surprise, that's why I coded them that way ). I guess they are not configurable in KOreader?
