As you know Kobo made me lose my credit card for excessive use in a foreign country. It seems now with them using World Pay even though it says U.S. on the statements the card issuer counted them as Kobo trying to get around the system. My card issuer calls it fraud. I tried to explain it's the new checkout system and it's full of glitches but they wont budge.
You would think they would just block Kobo or World Pay instead of penalizing me for something I have no control over.  So if you have a Green Dot card or a card issued by GE Money Bank don't use it at Kobo!  Paypal Debit card is also issued by them and Amazon and several other cross branded cards. Google for a list. I wouldn't want anyone else in my position because they will blame you not the merchant.

I've done a lot of shopping in Mexico... so I hope nothing goes wrong there. I've used my debit card - so far nothing has happened. Fingers crossed.
