A torn and very old copy of Heinlein's Time Enough for Love... Due to an allergy to celulose I developed in late years I still keep it in a glassed shelf. To read it again I would need mask, gloves and protective spectacles...

One ebook I go to frequently is J.L. Borges Complete Works. I have to digest (literally) one short story after the other. So it's always open and never completely finished. So it's the case with several short stories by P.K. Dick, Isaac Asimov and the like. I can read a short story in the time it takes to wait in a doctor's visit or a subway ride for instance...
