As far as moving the library, while calibre is closed take the My Documents\Calibre Library folder (or whatever the library is named) and move the WHOLE LIBRARY to some other location using the file manager.

Then open calibre and it will say help I can't find ur library anymore, point to the new location or delete the library from the calibre library list.

Your problem is I am assuming that calibre and Google Drive are trying to access the folder together, and calibre can't keep the database together long enough to move the library, so instead you will move the library manually.

The settings, including the library lists, will remain the same no matter whether you use 32- or 64-bit, and no matter how many times you reinstall. They shouldn't be messed up from Google Drive anyway, just the actual library folder. However, if the library folder doesn't work, then calibre will not know what to do with itself, and send you errors to that effect.
Moving the library out of Google isn't an issue. I wasn't actually using the Google version as I have fears that Google will "accidentally" delete it and it will be gone. I am a little paranoid I realize.

I have the real library in my documents and a backup on my second hard drive. I was just copying updates between the libraries when everything crashed. So I opened the Google drive library to see what was happening and got stuck with multiple error messages that wouldn't let me get out of it.

If I do use Copy, I will probably still have a backup in my documents. Thank goodness for large hard drives..... Thanks for the info. Makes me a little happier to use it.
