My most cherished books were the Pern series by Anne McCaffrey and the Gramarye series by Christopher Stasheff. I even went so far as to buy hardcovers for the larger print when my eyes started giving me trouble. Alas, they are all going now since I can't read them, but I DO have them on ebook now, so I'm happy.
That said, ebooks do not replace cookbooks or craft books for a variety of reasons.
