It is interesting to see that no one really uses the two largest options. But perhaps if your eyesight is that poor that you needed to use them you wouldn't be doing a lot of browsing an internet forum!

I know of two members here that do use that size. I can't imagine how many page turns it takes for a page but at least they can read a book.
As for finding out what font sizes a book uses you have to look at the style sheet. 1em would be normal size so you want your main paragraph style and bold and italics to use that size then tweak the other text styles to big a tad bigger or smaller depending on what they are used for.
If you remove the Font-Size reference from a style it will use the default size of 1em or some style sheets use normal as the value.
