1.Launch your Kindle App on your Mac
2.Select Preference within the Kindle App
3.Under Content Folder hit "Change"
4.Create a new folder on the desktop labeled whatever you want
The contents of your Kindle (books, docs, etc) will automatically be copied to this new folder.

5.Connect your iPad to your Mac
6.Open iTunes
7.Select your iPad Tab to the left of the "iTunes Store" tab at the right of your screen
8.Select the "Apps" tab
9.Under "File Sharing" at the bottom of the screen select Kindle
10.Drag and drop files from the new folder containing your Kindle files to the Kindle Documents

Hope this helps…it sure was a pain in the butt for me too!
