Yes, same here. I confirmed that beforehand by looking at "penabled"-compatible pens. They are all based on the previous generation Wacom technology, so certain older pens apparently work (mostly 1st gen Cintiq) However, shopping around, they all still cost as much new as the "professional" pen iRex offers, so I just went with that. (More on sketching when I post my impressions)

I can also confirm that the tablet still works with the included pen fully inserted.
