Also very good if you need to convert between formats. Also calibre is great as a backup of the books you have on your device.

If you use books with DRM, then calibre is not a suitable tool. For books without DRM calibre can also function as a reader app for your desktop.

Using the Sony software in addition to Evernote has been working out really great and I'm happy with my current solution, but everyone keeps telling me to use Calibre...
