Yes if you buy a Kindle anywhere Amazon will will replace it but it's just easier to exchange it where you bought it till their return policy days run out then go through Amazon for everything else.
It's just not Best Buy that's rude. We got alot of great sales guys here at BB not very knowledgeable but they do try.. It's just Kids in general who don't care about people. No respect is being taught these days. The kids who live next door to me have shown me that whatever attitude with their generation is a serious problem. It's scary to think what their Kids will grow up to be like!

senior moment can't remember. I did mention on trade-in (chat line) that the package was so damaged that my value would be low, the CSR said no the package doesn't matter

that is not what I hear on MR.
As for rude kids I agree, I contribute it to broken marriages, or no marriages, no guidance from parents.... Indeed scarey.
