Hehe... still, reading 2 books per week would be possible, assuming they're "normal" books of around 350 pages. That would be 700 pages a week, or 100 in a day.
I read at ~35 pages per hour (with Count Pages set to 2400 characters per page; which would come down to around 300 WPM reading speed). Thus, I'd need around 2.85 (2 hours, 51 minutes) a day to read. If I'd drop every other hobby I have and always read in public transport, I could do it, and thus read 104 books a year. However, I don't want to drop all other hobbies I have, and at this time, I'm mostly reading about 1 hour a day.
People who are twice as fast as I am, reading at 600 WPM, would be able to read those 104 books in half the time, or read 208 books a year. People who claim to read 300, 500, or 1000 books per year have too much time on their hands, and are hereby obliged to tell me how they put 240 hours into one day
